Black & Blue Go Where No Other Color's Gone Before; to the Wii

The Wii items in the pictures below may be black and blue, but the fanboys deep inside us are green with envy. Pictures of a couple colorful Nintendo products have made their way to the internet today. A black Wii, stocked with same-pigmented accessories, as well as a blue Wii Remote, MotionPlus, and Nunchuck, were seen recently, set up for display in Japan. The Big-N will be sending the new black Wiis to Japanese retail this summer, alongside the massive Monster Hunter 3 bundle. The blue remote seen below is said to be a Japanese Club Nintendo prize only as of now, so don't expect to see it up for grabs any time soon.

Blue Wii Remote, MotionPlus, and Nunchuck

As you can see, the Monster Hunter 3 bundle will come with a black Wii, Remote, Nunchuck, Classic Controller and attachment, as well as the game itself. Also, I may be mistaken on this, but is this the first true bundle of the Wii? Sure, I've seen retailers slap the Wii together with a few games during the holidays, but I don't recall seeing Nintendo packaging in a third party game straight out of the box before.

I think you may be right on that. I mean, we had WiiSports come with the Wii, but for Japan that might be the absolute first time that a game came packaged with the Wii.

The blue weirds me out a little bit. Its like..too blue, or something.
